Shad Thames is a charming area with many excellent restaurants and coffee houses located along the river. The area features the converted warehouses which retain their original brickwork, winches, large sign-writing and so on, and most are named after the commodities which were originally stored in them. Perhaps the most striking features are the walkways which criss-cross high above your head as you walk along the street which were originally used to roll barrels and the like between warehouses.
This outstanding apartment is also ideally situated for the vibrant Borough Market, the tourist attractions of Tooley Street and the City and central London to the North. The closest underground stations are London Bridge, 10 min walk, or Tower Hill across Tower Bridge.
